Friday Finishes

Fourth Friday in May

My cold is getting better but I still have a bad cough. The cough doesn't affect my sewing like the cold did on the weekend. So this is what i got done.

1. I completed long arm quilting a large lap charity quilt for the a Kindred Spirits Community Quilters. I used Starburst pantograph and Blue Moon thread from Connecting Threads.

This is the back.

I also got one of the six crow puppets done for the Wizard of Oz play that will be done at school. I am happy with how it turned out. So 5 more to go...

  1. Your sock crow looks adorable. Now that you've figured out your method, maybe you can "assembly line" the rest! Yay for finishing a quilt and a crow!

  2. The quilt is lovely, I'm sure the person receiving it will be blessed by it. And that crow is too cute

I would love to hear from you. I usually send you a reply email unless life gets too much in the way of my quilty habits.
