Welcome Back TGIFF!!

July 11-  I would like to apologize at the top for the longer post and lots of pictures!  I hope you can forgive my excitement!
Welcome Back TGIFF!  I am so excited to host TGIFF again!  I get to share a couple baby quilt finishes and my progress on my new found love ... EPP hexie flowers.  Thanks to a giveaway win, right here at TGIFF, from Angie N at a Quilting Reader's Garden.  So I thought that I would also do the same like a "pay it forward" and offer a giveaway of EPP hexagons, a fat quarter and bit of accent fabric (picture at bottom of this post) to one winner who links a finish to this linky party. Maybe you will be inspired to learn English Paper Piecing!  Here's hoping...
So here are my Friday finishes and EPP hexie flower blocks update!
My ball hockey teammate had twins and I finally got the binding and labels on these baby quilts! Yes she had a boy and a girl.

Here is my EPP progress...
I love the portability of these little hexies.  I can take them in the car, on the train, to work etc..you get the idea. I also have the goal of making one lap quilt with the blocks with 3 smaller flowers on them and to make a lap quilt using my scrap bin with the larger flowers.
I now have 2 Fiskar's paper punches in 2 different sizes, 1 1/2"  and 2 1/4". (Suggested by AngieN)  I use a heavier paper like card stock or old binder dividers someone left behind at school as seen in the pictures below.
Here are the pics of what I have done so far since the beginning of June.

These are the original blocks with the original fabric I won. I will use these for a table runner.

These 3 will be for a lap quilt. I used slightly different fabric. I used the 1 1/2" paper punch.

These are the flowers I made with the extra large 2 1/4" hexie punch. 2 are done, 1 in progress, 3 glued and ready to go.

Hope you enjoyed my EPP story, progress and finishes! I am looking forward to reading about your finishes!

I am glad you stopped by to see all of the finishes linked to this blog post. I will be randomly choosing one lucky winner from the blogs that have linked to this post. I will contact you by email and post the winner on my weekly goal post on Sundays.
