Weekend and Weekly Goals

I went to Quilt Canada and the Niagara Falls Heritage Guild Show this weekend.
We weren't allowed to take any pictures of the Quilt Canada Juried show quilts. So I took some of the guild show quilts. A couple are my Moms.

Quilting the Psalms by my Mom, Dietlind Winter.   1812 Civil War Quilt also made by my mom and long arm quilted by me.

A couple hexie quilts but I forgot to check who made them.

Zentangle by Sheila.                                                              Remember by Johanna Hutchinson. All bits of t-shirts.

The Lady in Winter by June Rose.                                       Star Crystal by Johanna Hutchinson.

Hawaiian Dreams by Pat Dunbar.                                                   Sunflowers by Tia Philips.

This is what I purchased at the market:

I got these lovelies at the Sew Sisters booth.                These Kona Solids are from Mad About Patchwork.

These pantographs are from The Stencil Company.  These Master Quilter threads are from Wonderfil.

This is a spare bobbin case for my HQ Sixteen from Handi Quilter.

I completed the second of 2 twin size customer quilts.

GOALS FOR THIS WEEK:

1. Complete class quilt on the long arm (maybe use some of my new thread) and bind it.

2. Work on making hexie flowers when I can.

3. Maybe start another charity quilt on the long arm and try my new thread!

  4. So jealous that you got to go to Quilt Canada! It was in my hometown a while back, but I still didn't make it there. June is just too busy for us teachers!

    1. It was tough for me too. I went the last 3 hours of the show only and it was there 4 days! I am glad I went.
