Welcome TGIFF in June!

Welcome TGIFF (Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday) Linky Party today- Friday, June 6th!

My name is Audrey. I enjoy blogging here at Glory Be Quilter. (glorybequilter33@blogspot.ca) I regularly link to TGIFF to show my weekly finishes. I make goals for myself on Sunday for the week which I share on several Linky parties listed on the right. I share those finishes here and other linky parties.  I am happy if I reach the goals and I am happy even if I don't, as long as I am quilting!

Here is what I accomplished this week.... if you checked out this blog post you would know why this would be called a slow week for me. Although one job got added to my plate with a deadline!

I completed one hexie flower to add to the one I completed Sunday. I recently joined Hexagon Alley where we are striving to work 8 hours on any hexie project.  I am having a blast with these little hexies. I can take them anywhere and stitch when I have a few moments in the day.
 Sunday's

 Yesterday

I fixed 7 black capes and made 2 more red ones for the Wizard of Oz play that our school is performing next week.

I am glad you stopped by to see all of the finishes linked to this blog post. I have 3 Downton Abbey fat quarters to giveaway to one person who linked to this TGIFF Linky party.

    1. I received that fabric in a flickr fat eighth fabric swap group I participated in last year. Little did I know I would be using it for hexies this year!

    1. Thanks Valerie! The idea is not an original. I found it on pinterest. You can read about it here. http://glorybequilter33.blogspot.ca/2014/05/hexie-progress.html

  8. The hexies are so pretty. I haven't tried hexies yet - they seem like they take such precision.

  10. I love your hexagon flowers with leaves, what a novel idea. I agree an EPP is useful to have going for all the odd moment without a sewing machine.

    1. I got sick in January and since I had no place to go on the couch I thought I would see what the fuss was all about...I watched the whole series! Now I am a fan of Downton Abbey! I watched season 1 and 2 on Netflix and bought season 3 and 4 on iTunes!
I got the coral fabric at a Flickr group fat eighth swap. I don't what the name of it is.
