Love in a Nutshell by Janet Evanovich and Dorien Kelly.
I love the easy flow of J.E.'s books. Lorelei King does a great job reading Janet's books. Her voice is perfect. It is a funny story with a hint of mystery. I enjoyed it. There is a part 2 called The Husband list. I am waiting for it to be available to borrow at the library I borrow audiobooks from.
Spring Fever by Mary Kay Andrews.
I just finished this book last night. A fictional story about life and how mixed up it can get. It is also an easy listen. I like how the story lines of the character's lives were all tied together. It is read by Kathleen McInerney. At first I wasn't sure if her voice fit the story but as you listen you realize her voice is great for the book.
I just loaded The Best Of Me by Nicholas Sparks on today for my next book to listen to.
I am linking to Spread the Love Linky Party by the Steadfast Reader.
I've had reservations about narrators that turn out well in the end, too. I don't think I've encountered an audiobook that I simply couldn't listen to because of the narration. I'm going to have to think on that...
ReplyDeleteI also may be picky April since I am new to audiobooks and was used to reading for myself only.
